Immanuel in Eternity

Advent is a season where we anticipate the return of Jesus to be fully Immanuel. Since his long walks with our ancestors in the Garden of Eden, God has been seeking to restore Immanuel. The ultimate hope and promise of Immanuel is for Creature and Creator to live in a perfect relationship. Reading: Revelation 21: 1-4

From Series: "Immanuel"

Advent and Christmas are times when we celebrate that God is not some distant deity who is detached from our lives. Rather, He is present. He is in the moment. He is aware and active in the circumstances and smallest details of life. He is Immanuel – God with us. But what does it mean for God to be with us? Is it simply an assurance of His presence to make you feel better? Is God present to give you someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on? Is He present to guide you in decisions? These might be true but there is so much more. During this series, we will look at some places in God’s Word where Immanuel showed up. Come with us as we explore God’s Word and discover that there is so much more to the God who is Immanuel – God with us.
