Opportunities to serve in our Community Care ministry.
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one care ministry that equips and empowers lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. Stephen Ministers help, encourage, pray for, and support people experiencing a crisis – illness, divorce, death, loss of a job, loneliness, depression and so many more of life’s struggles and trials.
Prince of Peace has many trained men and women ready and willing to help you today. If you have experienced a crisis in your life and would like specialized one-on-one, confidential care, please click here or call Susan Wellborn at 214-448-4373.

Our Community Care Ministry is made up of volunteers who love the Lord and endeavor to serve our community as His hands. We want to listen, encourage and pray with anyone needing a reminder of God’s love for them.
If you are part of our local community and would like to request assistance, please call 972-982-0588 and leave a message detailing your need.
Be sure to answer all the questions asked. If we feel we might be able to assist you, someone will return your call and set up an appointment to meet with our interviewers.
We conduct interviews two mornings a week to get acquainted and determine if we can assist.
