On Reformation Day, we give thanks for Martin Luther’s bold stand on the truth of Jesus Christ, declaring before the powers of his day: “Here I stand, I can do no other.” Reformation Day is also Confirmation Day when our young believers will also echo that same confession, not in their own strength, but in the confidence of God’s unshakable grace. By grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, we still stand.
