Prince of Peace has vibrant kids and youth ministries that are always in need of volunteers. If you enjoy working with kids and youth and have a passion for sharing the love of Jesus with young people, Kids and Youth Connect are a great place to serve. 

Kids Connect Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome Desk: Provide families with a friendly face and a hello as they check in on Sunday mornings.

Nursery & Toddlers: Hold, rock, and play with little ones while mom and dad are at church.

Teachers: Lead and teach kids about Jesus during the Connect Hour. Substitute teachers also needed.

Special Events: Help plan and execute opportunities for families to journey through special occasions like Christmas Kick-off, Christmas program, Palm Sunday singing, and Easter Family Fun.

Worship Bags: Prepare worship bags each week for kids to use during church.

Vacation Bible School (VBS): Pour into kids during the high energy VBS week so they can experience Jesus through dancing, crafts, singing, snacks, games, and Bible time.

Youth Connect Volunteer Opportunities

Mentors:  Invest in youth by getting to know them, spending time with them, and praying for them. Relationships are key to helping teens grow in their faith. 

Chaperones: Guide and lead youth at retreats, summer trips, and off campus outings.

Teachers: Teach and lead teens during the Connect Hour on Sunday mornings.

Wednesday Evenings: Grow the youth community to reflect the love of Jesus and cultivate relationships through games, reading the bible together, and hanging out.

Confirmation Coach: Provide guidance, encouragement, and intentional prayer for Confirmation families.
