Message: “Immanuel in Eternity” from Pastor Dan Trempala

    Pastor Sabir Bashir - December 12, 2018

    Immanuel in the Storms

In life there will be those moments when God not only seems absent, but worse, unconcerned. We cry out in desperation, “God, I’m dying here. Why don’t you do something?” Then, Immanuel reminds us that He is not only Savior and Lord but also Creator and Sustainer of all creation. Reading: Mark 4:35-41

    From Series: "Immanuel"

Advent and Christmas are times when we celebrate that God is not some distant deity who is detached from our lives. Rather, He is present. He is in the moment. He is aware and active in the circumstances and smallest details of life. He is Immanuel – God with us. But what does it mean for God to be with us? Is it simply an assurance of His presence to make you feel better? Is God present to give you someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on? Is He present to guide you in decisions? These might be true but there is so much more. During this series, we will look at some places in God’s Word where Immanuel showed up. Come with us as we explore God’s Word and discover that there is so much more to the God who is Immanuel – God with us.
