The Sounds of Suffering

The Sounds of Lent

From dust you came and to dust you shall return. This is the reminder of Ash Wednesday. You are not in control. As much as we try, we cannot escape the wages of sin which is death. The Lord looks at the stain of our sin and does not say, “Clean yourself up. Do better. Try harder.” In His grace, God simply says, “Return to me.” Reading: Joel 2:12-19 | Responsive Psalm: Psalm 51: 1-4; 10-12; 15

From Series: "The Sounds of Lent"

COME AND LISTEN TO THE SOUNDS OF LENT Do you know what is rare in our world today? Listening. Everyone seems to be talking and not listening. Lent is a season to hear from God. To hear how desperate we are and how sufficient He is. This season, we invite you to listen to the Word in a deeper way. To hear the Word of the Gospel not simply as words on a page in an old book but as the true story of what God has accomplished for you. Come and listen to the Sounds of Lent.
