LWML January Brunch
We want to have an annual daytime event for LWML ladies as so many in the church cannot attend at night. This is our third January brunch. The speaker will be Robin Doeden, who is the daughter of member Carolyn Doeden. Robin was involved in fundraising for the Chicago-area LCMS schools and she is now in Texas working with Momentous, a school in an under-served community in Oak Cliff. She also raises funds for the Byron Nelson golf tournament. She will speak to us about her work with LCMS schools, education, growing up Lutheran -- and she has some funny stories to share as well. It will be a light-hearted event. The LWML board is donating food. We expect twice our normal turnout at least -- 50 ladies or more.
