Fall Kick off 2025
It’s time to Kick Off FALL! At Prince of Peace, we value God’s people connecting to God’s Word and to each other. We desire each person to feel connected not only to the church and each other, but also to our Lord through intentionally studying His Word. On Sunday, September 7 from 9:15-10:15 am, we will Kick Off FALL and encourage everyone to connect to a Bible study during the connect hour. All children, youth, and adults are invited to participate in FALL Kick-Off!
Sunday Connect Hour (9:15 am – 10:15 am)
Adult Bible Studies
- Room 307 - First Step: Led by Mike Zimmer (every first Sunday of the month). A one-time session for newcomers who are interested in knowing about the Prince of Peace community and considering joining the church.
- Room 301 - Discovery Class: Led by Pastor Sabir Bashir (starting 9/21/25 – ending 10/26/25). This 6-week class provides teaching about the Lutheran church along with the opportunity to learn more about how we worship, connect, and serve as a Prince of Peace community. At the conclusion of the class, participants will be invited to become members of Prince of Peace.
- Room 305 - Parent Connect: Led by Mandy Lowe, DCE (ongoing). Designed to equip parents through Bible study, discipleship training, guest speakers. and small group discussions to be the faith leaders in their home.
- Conference Center - Senior Adult Bible Study, Paul's Letter to the Philippines: Led by Rev. Dr. John Messmann (started 8/31/25 - ending 9/21/25). Discovering together the powerful gift of a Christ-centered life and Christ-sourced life - especially in the midst of circumstances we never expected nor wanted.
- Fellowship Center - Revelation: Led by Pastor Micah (ongoing - ending mid-November 2025). Through this book of the Bible John points to the victory in Jesus for His Church into His glorious mission. The journey of Revelation reveals the voice of Jesus who says, “Surely I am coming soon.” This study is also available at https://www.youtube.com/@poplctx.

Discipleship Training for parents! We want to raise our children to know, love, and follow Christ. At times, we wish there was a discipleship manual or at least some tools to disciple our children. Throughout the school year, we will add discipleship tools to our parent toolbox and take time to develop the skills needed to better disciple our children. We will start with the 5 steppingstones in our Milestones Ministry as the first discipleship tools to add to our toolbox.

Fellowship Center | 7:00 – _8:00 am | Men’s Bible Study – Minor Prophets (Starting 9/9/25 – _Ongoing) | Led by Pastor Micah Miller - Hope-filled journey through Hosea-Malachi. Trace God’s call to repentance, His heart for justice and mercy, and the bright promise fulfilled in Christ.
Wednesdays:
Room 301 | 9:30 – 10:30 am | Senior’s Bible Study – Sermon on the Mount (Started 6/18/25 – ending 9/24/25) | Led by Curt Riske – Seeking to discover what it means to “seek first the Kingdom of God” in our relationships, values, ambitions, finances and commitments by digging deep into Jesus’ startling and challenging message.
Room 305 | 6:00 – 7:30 pm | Women’s Bible Study – David by Beth Moore (Started 7/30/25 – ending 10/8/25) | Led by Patsy Bashir - Explore the depths of God’s love with a heart like His. David “man after God’s own heart,” will make you laugh and cry. He will delight and disappoint you. You’ll want to be just like him at times and nothing like him at others.
