Message: “Immanuel in Weakness” from Pastor Micah Miller

Pastor Micah Miller - December 2, 2018

Immanuel in Weakness

If you could choose the people you would want to be with who would it be? The successful? The movers and shakers? The wealthy and privileged? God loves to be Immanuel not with the strong but with the weak. And not just the weak but the weakest of the weak. Reading: Judges 6: 11-17

From Series: "Immanuel"

Advent and Christmas are times when we celebrate that God is not some distant deity who is detached from our lives. Rather, He is present. He is in the moment. He is aware and active in the circumstances and smallest details of life. He is Immanuel – God with us. But what does it mean for God to be with us? Is it simply an assurance of His presence to make you feel better? Is God present to give you someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on? Is He present to guide you in decisions? These might be true but there is so much more. During this series, we will look at some places in God’s Word where Immanuel showed up. Come with us as we explore God’s Word and discover that there is so much more to the God who is Immanuel – God with us.
