Our Mother’s Day Out ministry is currently active but will be sunsetting at the end of the summer. The last day for Mother’s Day Out will be August 29, 2024. Registrations for Summer 2024 are still being accepted.

KIDZ TIME is a safe and loving Christian environment where we promote the development of children physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually while sharing the love of Jesus.

Every child is precious, and we believe it is our calling to love, encourage, and guide each child that God leads to Prince of Peace. We are excited to serve your family!

Our Mother’s Day Out ministry will be sunsetting at the end of Summer 2024. Deciding to discontinue a ministry is always difficult. First, this decision disrupts the lives of families and staff that we love and care for. Most of all, we will miss seeing the families and children on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Why have we made this decision? As a congregation we must always be asking questions like, “How do we position talent and resources to best advance the mission of Jesus?” “Are the talent and resources best aligned around our highest priorities?” “How can we continually strive to be great at a few things rather than making a futile attempt to be good at many things?” In short, the decision to sunset our Mother’s Day Out ministry comes down to the need to realign talent and resources to better serve Youth and Family ministries. 

At Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, we are devoted to God’s call which is summarized by three words – Worship, Connect, Serve. Please join me, the staff, and leadership as together we devote ourselves to God’s gifts of Word and Sacrament (Worship), engaging the Word in community (Connect), and being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community (Serve).
