What: Small Group Ministry (SGM)
Who: 9th – 12th Grade Students
When: 1st Sunday of the Month at 6:30pm
Where: Youth Center & Host Homes
What is Small Group Ministry (SGM)?
Small Group Ministry is an exciting new way to connect with other students your age! High School aged students are invited to participate in this unique opportunity to build a tight knit community; after all – that’s what the church is all about! On the first Sunday of each month various gender-based groups will be meeting throughout the Carrollton area and surrounding neighborhoods.
Each Small Group time will include a time of community building (games/swimming/food etc.) and intentional time centered around God’s Word. The relationships built through the time invested within small groups will strengthen each participant’s faith in ways we cannot even imagine!
What are the goals of Small Group Ministry?
SGM is designed to be a subset of the High School Ministry (HSM) program. SGM will fulfill the second portion of the vision of Prince of Peace…TEACHING THEM EVERYTHING I COMMANDED.
This community is about growing deeper together. For today’s high school students, life can be tough. Between sports, activities, schedules, school, grades, parents and more, life is stressful! There hardly seems to be a spare moment to reconnect with God. Our desire is to provide a special time where students can find rest.
Who’s included and when?
