Preschool through Middle School parents must purchase the following school supplies for the 2008-2009 School Year.

New Uniform Provider – Campus Outfitters

Prince of Peace Christian School is pleased to welcome Campus Outfitters as our new uniform provider!

Campus Outfitters offers 4 convenient ways to shop:

  • Campus Roadshow at Prince of Peace on Tuesday, July 29th, from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.
  • At the new retail store that will open soon at Belt Line and Coit.  Presently they have a store at 300 North Coit Road, Richardson, TX 75080.
  • On-Line at www.campusoutfitters.com. Use the POPCS code PR1470 to access POPCS exclusive website.

Summer Reading Requirements

Students entering 2nd -12th grades will be required to complete their summer reading requirements for their grade level. All projects/assignments will be due by August 29, 2008.

Reading Requirements

Lower School (2nd - 5th Grade)

Middle School (6th - 8th Grade)*
6th Grade
7th Grade
7th Grade Honors
8th Grade

High School (9th - 12th Grade)

* The Middle School Summer Reading Requirments were updated
on June 24th.


Summer Reading – Book Donation:  We are beginning a new program called “Volume II”.  After your children finish their summer reading books, we are asking you to consider donating the books to POPCS.  All books may be dropped off at the Lower School Library.  The books will be stored during the school year.  At the end of the year Used Uniform Sale, the used books will be available for purchase at a reduced rate.  We hope this will make it easier to find that all elusive children’s novel with which your children can do their summer projects!  All proceeds will go to the library fund.  Thanks for your support as we begin this new program.

Medication List
All students in every grade level are required to supply POPCS with the items listed below. Please bring items to the School Clinic as soon as possible. Be sure to check all expiration dates.

Purchase Textbooks for Advanced Placement Classes
All students enrolled in Advanced Placement classes will need to purchase their text books online.

Textbooks will be available for purchase on July 15th.
MS PE Uniforms

All middle school students are required to purchase a PE uniform set. PE uniforms will be on display at POPCS on July 29th. To place an order, return the completed order form with attached payment to POPCS. Please make checks payable to POPCS Booster Club.

Uniforms are not available through Campus Outfitters.

500 Seat Fine Arts Center
Stay abreast with the latest news, photos and blogs about Prince of Peace’s new 500 seat Fine Arts Center. As news breaks and construction begins we will post all updates at princeofpeace.org/ fineartscenter.  Currently you can view schematic designs, but once changes occur on campus we will post photos of the progress.
