Mr. Stone is a Texas native, having grown up in the small town of Crane. He moved to Dallas seven-years ago to pursue his education and has remained embedded in DFW since. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Dallas Baptist University, his Master of Humanities in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Dallas, and is currently pursuing a second Master of Arts in Literature from University of Dallas.
While attending college in Denton, Mr. Stone met his future-wife Julie, who also completed her first degree from Dallas Baptist University. Julie, a recent Master of Professional Accounting graduate from the University of Texas in Arlington, works as an accountant in Arlington. They have been married for 3 years.
Mr. Stone's singular goal in the educational experience, as St. Augustine so wonderfully explained, is to redeem truth wherever it may be found, to claim back, "as if from its unjust possessors", that which is necessarily God's truth. Whether reading Plato and Aristotle, Fitzgerald and Hemingway, or Marx and Nietzsche, all can be used for God's glory as the reader interacts
with the texts.
