Mrs. Dover is from Casper, Wyoming and is a graduate of the University of Wyoming. She holds three Bachelor of Science degrees from this institution. Her degrees are in Recreation & Park Administration, Secondary Education (Business Education & Office Administration), and Elementary Education. She is bilingual, with certification in Spanish education. While waiting for her husband to finish his degree in petroleum engineering, Mrs. Dover entered the teaching profession as a substitute teacher and has since taught all levels of learners from pre-school through high school.

Mrs. Dover began her first year of teaching at Prince of Peace in the 1998 school year. Prior to that, she taught 3rd grade for three years and 4th grade for one year at Faith Lutheran School in Plano. Third grade offers Mrs. Dover the creativity to teach using a wide variety of methods. Acting as a facilitator, she motivates and challenges children to strive to become productive Christian members of society. Most of all, Mrs. Dover loves sharing Jesus' love and assurance with all her students.  She has recently completed the Colloquy program through Concordia University, Austin. This is an intensive religion/doctrine course which certifies her as a Commissioned Lutheran Teacher. 

The Dovers have two children, Ryan and Alyssa, who attend Prince of Peace high school, and are active members here at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
