Mrs. Hoerr and her family are new to Prince of Peace and Texas! They came to us from Southern California where she taught Kindergarten and Pre-School. Mrs. Hoerr received her Bachelor’s Degree, Teaching Credential and Masters Degree in Education from The University of San Diego. She has taught in both public and Lutheran schools.

Mrs. Hoerr loves Kindergarten and believes it is where she is meant to be!  If you walk into her classroom you will see her students getting “messy” with learning!  She believes in a very hands-on approach to learning where her students are engaged in a variety of multi-sensory activities such as singing, dancing, cooking, building and performing.  These activities combined with a  rigorous phonics, reading and writing curriculum make for a wonderfully balanced program.  

Mrs. Hoerr and her husband are blessed with three children who all attend Prince of Peace.   They are also members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  Mrs. Hoerr is looking forward to a wonderful school year!
