Mrs. Kennedy is a native Texan.  She graduated from Austin College in 1983 with a Bachelor in Science degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education.  She is certified to teach Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.  Mrs. Kennedy taught in the Dallas ISD from 1983 to 1998 in various subjects and grades.  She stayed home for the next 5 years to spend more time with her family and in 2003 began a part time position at POPCS, teaching math.

Mrs. Kennedy and her husband, Tim, have been married for 18 years.  They have one son, Jackson, who will be in 6th grade this year.  She and her family attend Fellowship Church in Grapevine.  Her hobbies are reading and traveling.
