Mr. Lusk is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco.  After obtaining his degree in Business Administration/Marketing, he realized his true calling was to be a teacher and he pursued his teaching certification for math.  He comes to Prince of Peace after teaching Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, P.E., and Multimedia classes at Bending Oaks High School.  He has tutored at risk students, who need help socially and scholastically, helping them to learn what it takes to succeed.

“As a teacher and Coach, I enjoy the challenge of helping students succeed.  Seeing a math student solve a complex problem or an athlete master a skill on the court brings me joy, knowing I played a role in helping them achieve their success.”

Mr. Lusk will serve as math teacher, as well as coach for baseball and soccer, at Prince of Peace this year.  He is an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  In his spare time, he sings in the Living Praise service, assists with J.A.M., the middle school youth group, and participates in the Men’s Basketball Ministry.  He and his wife, Sarah, lead a Careciple group.
