Mrs. Owens attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1991, and a Master of Science in Elementary Education in 1992. Her first teaching position was as a fourth grade teacher in Chireno, TX. Annemarie taught 5th and 6th grade in McKinney, for four years, one year of 6th grade and two years of technology in Allen. She joined the Prince of Peace family in the fall of 2002.

Since joining Prince of Peace, Mrs. Owens taught 4th grade for two years, and is currently in her second year of teaching 6th grade.  Mrs. Owens loves to be with the middle school children.  She loves everything about them!

Mrs. Owens is married to Craig, has one son, Harrison, and a dog, Molly. The Owenses have been married for 13 years.

In the classroom, Mrs. Owens works well with all students, and has high expectations regarding academic and moral success. She believes parents are paramount in a child’s life and endeavors and that it is important to keep in close contact with the families of her students.

Mrs. Owens is excited about her position and being able to extend and challenge her students beyond their imaginations.
