Re-Enrollment Information

All currently enrolled students and their siblings will be given the opportunity to re-enroll before the general public.  To take advantage of priority re-enrollment, students must re-enroll on or before
January 30, 2009
Prince of Peace anticipates that many classes will reach maximum capacity!  To guarantee your child’s placement, please take advantage of priority re-enrollment.

Please save the application to your computer. Complete and print the application.
If you have multiple children at POPCS, please use the form as a template.  After you have completed one form, simply update the name information and print.  POPCS would like all re-enrollment forms to be typed. Bring the printed application with you to your re-enrollment meeting.

* If you have a child who is a new student to POPCS, you will need to complete the new student application for the child who is new to POPCS and a re-enrollment application for your child who is currently enrolled at POPOCS.

Walk-In Re-Enrollment Dates
Office staff members will be available in the High School Commons on the following dates in January for walk-in re-enrollment: 

Thursday, January 15
7:30 - 10:00 a.m.

and

2:45 - 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, January 20

2:45 - 7:00 p.m. 

As an alternative, you may schedule a re-enrollment appointment by contacting Marilyn Bishop at (972) 447-0532, ext. 428.

These appointments are expected to take only 10 minutes per family, but will ensure that all paperwork has been completed correctly. 

Please complete the re-enrollment application and bring it with you to your appointment, along with the registration fee.

At your appointment, you will be asked to review the information for your child(ren) (i.e. address and phone numbers), which is currently on file. 


Tuition Information

For the 2009-2010 school year, parents may pay their tuition in one of the following ways:

  • Payment in Full.  Payment directly to the school by February 15, 2009, will entitle the family to a $200 tuition discount per student for full-time students or $100 for part-time students.
  • Payments through FACTS.  If you were enrolled in FACTS this year, we will have a FACTS Profile for you to review.  If changes are necessary, you will complete a FACTS Change Form at the time of re-enrollment.  Enrollment in FACTS is covered by your tuition; there is no added charge. 


Prince of Peace will again offer tuition insurance.  POPCS has a “no refund policy” for tuition and fees.  As a safeguard, you are able to purchase tuition insurance through the school at a cost of 10 percent of your tuition expense.  This program is completely optional and is available to any family who wishes to participate.  Tuition insurance forms are available at re-ennrollment. Payment will be due with the submission of the form at the time of enrollment.

Enrollment Fee
ELC – No Application or Enrollment Fees. Preschool/KPrep – No Enrollment Fee.
Kindergarten-12th - The one-time $500 fee listed above is paid at the initial admission of students entering Kindergarten and above.  The Enrollment Fee is used to help cover the cost of facilities.


Tuition Payment

ELC - Paid monthly* through FACTS.  The amount due will be determined by dividing the annual tuition due by 12 months. *Payment Options Available.

ELC-12th - Tuition paid annually in advance is given a $200 discount for all students attending a full 5 day program and $100 for all students attending part time programs.  Annual tuition is due by February 15, 2009.  Tuition paid monthly will be set up with FACTS Tuition Management on an ACH Debit or a credit card charge (with convenience fee added) for ten (10) monthly installments, the first of which is due by March 5, 2009 and each month thereafter through December 5, 2009.If the tuition payment does not occur due to insufficient funds, a $25 fee will be assessed by FACTS.


Refund Policy

ELC- With two weeks notice, any unused tuition will be refunded.  Registration is non-refundable.
Preschool-12th - Registration/Enrollment Fees are non-refundable unless the family is not granted enrollment due to waiting list or other school-determined reason.  The Zone tuition, except for holiday care, is transferable or refundable if withdrawal from The Zone is necessary.  School Tuition, Registration Fees for School, ELC and The Zone, and Enrollment Fees are non-refundable.  Tuition Insurance is available for purchase for Preschool-12th grade tuition.


Multiple Child Discounts

ELC – Preschool – Students enrolled in ELC-Preschool are not given a tuition discount.
KP-12th - Families with more than one child attending POPCS will receive a $500/student discount beginning with the 2nd child.
Medical Evaluation:  Hearing & Vision Screening and Scoliosis Screening are included in the School Registration Fee.

Insurance
A required accident insurance policy is included in the registration fee on all 3 and 4 year old students. 

Other Fees
For students in 5th through 12th grades, additional fees may be incurred for class trips, athletic fees, ISEE testing, or elective classes.  Tuition does not include uniform costs.  A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Registration Fee

A non-refundable $50 registration fee is due upon application.

Tuition:  Annual tuition is due by February 15, 2009.  There is no "savings" or reduction in fees for full payment for THE ZONE tuition.  Tuition for THE ZONE paid monthly will be set up with FACTS Tuition Management on an ACH Debit or credit card (with convenience fee added) charge for ten (10) monthly installments, the first of which is due by March 5, 2009, and each month thereafter through December 5, 2009.  If the tuition payment does not occur on the 5th due to insufficient funds, a $25 fee will be assessed.

THE ZONE tuition, except for holiday care fees, is transferable or refundable if withdrawal from THE ZONE becomes necessary.  Registration fees are non-refundable.

Tuition for THE ZONE only includes those days that school is open.  A holiday care day is any day that school is closed and THE ZONE is open*.  Care for those days is by reservation only and a payment of $30.00 per day is due one week prior to the Holiday Care day.  Payments received for Holiday Care are non-refundable and non-transferable.  THE ZONE will operate from the first day of school through Thursday of the last week of school.  Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  The calendar will not be finalized until the school and church finalize their schedules.

*If a change in the school calendar requires a change in the calendar for THE ZONE, there may be additional Holiday Care days added.

Before-School/After-School Care Hours:  On regular school days, before-school care is provided from 7:00 a.m. until start of school and after-school care is provided from end of school until 6:00 p.m.  It is the responsibility of the parent to make arrangements for pick-up of the child.  At 5:55 p.m., all children will be brought to Fellowship Hall.  A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged after 6:10 p.m.  The fee will be billed monthly by the school financial office.
