Food Pantry
Showers of Blessings: They say that showers come in April but the Food Pantry has received Showers of Blessings throughout the year from the generous donations of the Prince of Peace Family and Friends!
In March, in addition to the weekly requests for food, we provided Easter Dinner Baskets for 15 families. Everyone was so appreciative! We want to send a special thank you to the Holy Smokers who provided the smoked hams. You guys are the greatest!
Thanks to your very faithful support, our Food Pantry shelves are well stocked right now so we are hoping you will help us support our POP Missions Ministry as they join with other local churches and agencies in the building of a house for Habitat for Humanity.
April Needs:
GATORADE - cases of individual bottles WATER - cases of individual bottles
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Food Pantry with your prayers and food and monetary donations. In the future we will bring you stories of some of the lives you have touched with your faithful support of our Food Pantry.

KidZone Summer Programs - WE NEED YOU!
What a year it's been in KidZone! It's hard to believe the last day of our current program is almost here. However, we are excited about the summer programs we have planned.
Beginning June 8, Children's Ministry will offer two Sunday morning programs for children preschool age through fifth grade. The first program, Summer Kidz, will serve families attending the 9:25am Praise service and the 9:45am EPIC service. The second, Kidz Church, will serve families attending the 11am Praise service. The Infant and Toddler program will continue with its current schedule and will offer care during all Sunday morning services.
To ensure these programs are safe and fun for your children, we are in need of a wide range of volunteers. If everyone would serve just one Sunday this summer, we will have the number of volunteers needed to make these programs a great success! It takes a village to raise a child!
Please look over your summer schedules, review the dates below and sign up for one of these dates by sending an email to me. I'll be in touch to answer any questions and find the perfect spot for you!
June 8, 15, 22, 29 July 13, 20, 27 August 3, 10, 17, 24
Thank you and God's Blessings! Diane Duda diane.duda@princeofpeace.org (972) 447-9887 x480
