Dear Heavenly Father.  I thank you for the promises you have given me through your Son, Jesus Christ.  By his precious life, his sacrificial death on the cross, and by his glorious resurrection, you have provided me and all people the gift of salvation.

Please give me your Holy Spirit, dear Father, that I may consecrate myself to You and to Your Son, Jesus.  I place myself before you now, dear Father, and ask that you hold my heart in your hand forever.  I confess my faith in You, in Your Son, and in the Holy Spirit.  Receive me, dear Father, as your child, now and always.

For the eternal life you give me, I thank you now and forever.  In the name of Jesus.  Amen.
